On April 13, Mr. Tong Van Long - Vice Chairman of Bao Loc Ward 3 People's Committee signed a document requesting the Department of Construction of Lam Dong province and the Provincial Road Management Board to coordinate in inspecting and reviewing all connection points to National Highway 20 section passing through the area.

Thereby, promptly and thoroughly handle violations, especially in the Km105 area (Bao Loc Pass).
Previously, through inspection on April 11, functional agencies discovered that some households arbitrarily connected branch roads from forestry land to National Highway 20 without permission.

These connection points do not ensure technical conditions, pose a risk of traffic unsafety, affect infrastructure and cause encroachment and illegal leveling of forestry land.
Notably, at Km105, people arbitrarily placed concrete slabs across drainage ditches to connect to the leveling area, opening roads, and encroaching on natural streams. All of this activity has not been permitted by competent authorities.

According to Bao Loc Ward 3 People's Committee, National Highway 20 is a vital traffic route, with high traffic volume, complex mountainous terrain, and high risk of accidents.
If not promptly rectified, the situation of illegal connections may increase, seriously affecting traffic safety and land and forestry management.
The locality requests relevant units to strengthen inspection and strictly handle violations; and at the same time study the installation of additional guardrail systems at dangerous curved sections and areas at risk of illegal connections to ensure traffic safety.
Previously, as Lao Dong Newspaper reported: On April 11, although the violating area was cordoned off, the violator still brazenly broke the ditch bank, installed concrete slabs to connect to the illegal leveling area.
Records at the scene show that to install connecting panels from Bao Loc pass road (National Highway 20) to the leveling and excavation area without permission, violators encroached and destroyed the drainage ditch bank.
Here, the ditch bank is dug up, losing its foothold, posing a risk of landslides when the rainy season comes. The violator placed a concrete slab across the drainage ditch to connect to the leveling area.
