On September 20, the Traffic Police Department of Lam Dong Provincial Police said that the unit had just coordinated with the Department of Construction, Xuan Huong Ward Police - Da Lat and the Ward Military Command to complete the work of overcoming the landslide incident on Prenn Pass.

Accordingly, on the night of September 19, after receiving the news, forces quickly arrived at Km225+200 National Highway 20, the section through Prenn Pass, to handle rocks and soil and rocks sliding down the road surface.
Functional forces organize regulation, traffic diversion, and ensure traffic safety; and at the same time use excavators and cranes to move rocks and soil out of the landslide area.

Along with that, the Lam Dong Department of Construction mobilized specialized cranes and equipment to handle a large rock, pine root and many soil and rocks hanging on a positive slope more than 20m high, which are at risk of continuing to fall onto the road.

The forces have handled locations at risk of landslides, contributing to ensuring safety for people and vehicles traveling through Prenn Pass, the gateway to Da Lat, during the rainy season.
Previously, as Lao Dong Newspaper reported, at about 4:30 pm on September 19, when many vehicles were traveling through Prenn Pass, the section belonging to Xuan Huong ward - Da Lat, a landslide suddenly occurred in the rainy weather.
The landslide caused at least 3 large rocks and many soil and rocks to spill onto the road surface.
At the time of the incident, some car drivers promptly detected it, steered to avoid or stopped the car, so no collision occurred.
Immediately after receiving the news, Traffic Police Team No. 1 (Da Lat) was present at the scene to divert traffic, regulate traffic, guide vehicles through dangerous areas and coordinate with forces to overcome the incident.
