Previously, at about 5:30 pm on the same day, at Km225+200 National Highway 20, the section through Prenn Pass experienced a positive taluy landslide.
Soil and rocks overflowed, occupying about 3/4 of the road surface, causing vehicles to circulate in one direction alternately through the area.
Immediately after receiving the news, Traffic Police Team No. 1 (Da Lat) was present at the scene to divert traffic, regulate traffic and guide vehicles through the dangerous area.
In rainy conditions, the risk of landslides continues to occur, functional forces both organize traffic and coordinate with the Department of Construction of Lam Dong province to mobilize vehicles and personnel to collect soil and rocks and clear the road surface.
By the evening of the same day, the landslide location was temporarily treated, and vehicles could pass through the area.

The Traffic Police Department of Lam Dong Provincial Police recommends that people and drivers when passing Prenn Pass should reduce speed, proactively observe, maintain a safe distance and comply with the instructions of functional forces.
