The organizers of the 2026 National Youth Golf Championship said that the competition program takes place from August 5 to August 7.
This year, the tournament competes in 3 rounds with a total of 54 holes. Notably, the tournament does not apply cut-offs so that young male and female golfers have the opportunity to fully develop their professional abilities.
In addition to individual content, the tournament also has team content for the U15 and U18 age groups, contributing to improving competitiveness between units and localities.
The Vietnam Sports Administration stipulates that the achievements of athletes at the 2026 National Youth Golf Championship are considered for athlete rank according to regulations.
Last year, golfer Nguyen Tuan Anh won the National Youth Championship 2025. At the end of the tournament, Tuan Anh had a total score of -12 at that time. At last year's tournament, young face Nguyen Quoc Bao Huy held the runner-up position with a score of -2.
In this year's tournament, the Vietnam Golf Association (VGA) will separate 2 tournaments in the competition program.
In which the 2026 National Youth Golf Championship is a championship competition program exclusively for Vietnamese golfers.
Along with that, the Vietnam Junior Open 2026 tournament is organized to create a playground for international exchange and connection in the VGA Junior Tour system for golfers.
