On the afternoon of March 19, the first official competition day of the Lexus Challenge 2025 took place at The Bluffs Grand Ho Tram.
Due to inadequate lighting conditions, some groups have not been able to complete the 18 holes of round 1 and will continue to compete tomorrow morning (March 20). At the end of the first day of competition, Shotaro Ban temporarily led with a score of (-3). Athlete Nguyen Nhat Long was the Vietnamese with the best score, with an Even Par score.
golfer Nguyen Nhat Long is currently in 7th place. He has 4 Birdie and 4 Bogey in the first round. Accompanying Nguyen Nhat Long at the tournament was a close caddy friend, Nguyen Vu Quoc Anh.
American athlete Shotaro Ban is temporarily at the top of the rankings with a total score (-3). He started from hole 10 and reaped up to 6 Birdie in holes 3, 5, 9, 10, 12, 14 and only suffered from 03 bogey.
Gold is ranked 2nd and has 1 point difference with the top spot by 4 athletes Alejandro Canizares, Amarin Kraivixien, Sam Broadhurst, Filip Lundell.
Notably, Alejandro Canizares had a eagle at hole number 5, and Amarin Kraivixien had a bogey free round.
Tomorrow (October 20), athletes who have not completed the competition in round 1 will start at 06:40 at the previously suspended competition hole.
The first group to compete in round 2 will start at 06:35 a.m. the same day. After the end of round 2, there will be a qualifying round to select 50 athletes with the best scores (and equal status) to participate in the final round of Lexus Challenge 2025.
