Representatives of Vietnamese golf have 5 faces who will receive invitation tickets to participate in Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship 2026 including Le Khanh Hung, Nguyen Tuan Anh, Nguyen Anh Minh, Ho Anh Huy and Nguyen Van Hoa.
According to the plan, this year's tournament will be held from October 29 to November 1 in New Zealand.
Golfers will compete with each other in a stick-to-stick format in 4 rounds with a total of 72 holes.
In which, after the first 2 rounds with 36 holes, the Organizing Committee will cut out to select the golfers with the best results to continue.
Last year, Vietnam had Le Khanh Hung and Nguyen Duc Son participating in the tournament.
In which, Le Khanh Hung competed effectively to achieve a total score of -11, thereby ranking T5. Golfer Nguyen Duc Son had a total score of +7, so he ranked T42.
In 2024, golfer Nguyen Anh Minh participated in this tournament and ranked T19 when achieving a total score of +1.
With this year's tournament, Vietnamese golf is very confident that all 5 faces will reach high form and achieve the most worthy results.
Previously in September, 3 golfers Ho Anh Huy, Nguyen Van Hoa and Nguyen Tuan Anh will participate in the Nomura Cup 2026 tournament held at the golf course of Bayhood International Golf Club No. 9 in Beijing (China).
This is a team result calculation tournament. Currently, the Vietnamese golf team is holding the result as the reigning champion of the Nomura Cup 2026.
