On May 5, in Dak Koi commune, Delegation No. 9 of the 14th Provincial People's Council, term 2026 - 2031, organized meetings with voters and supervised the resolution and response to voters' petitions before the regular meeting in mid-2026 of the Provincial People's Council.
Attending the meeting were Ms. Y Thi Bich Tho - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ngai province, along with representatives of leaders of mass organizations, Dak Koi commune authorities and voters in the area.
At the conference, voters in Dak Koi commune had many opinions and recommendations focusing on practical issues directly related to people's lives and production, especially transportation infrastructure, irrigation and essential civil works.

Notably, voters reflected that in the border area between Kon Brai and Dak Koi communes, there are currently many households engaged in agricultural production. However, due to the Dak Pokei Reservoir project accumulating water, the rising water level has flooded some main roads into the production area, causing difficulties for travel, care and harvesting. Voters requested levels and sectors to soon inspect the reality and have solutions to overcome flooded sections, ensuring smooth traffic.
Regarding transport infrastructure, voters said that Provincial Road 677 (section passing through Dak Koi commune, from National Highway 24 to Dak Pxi commune) after many years of operation has deteriorated, many sections are peeling and damaged. Especially at Km26+330, the bank of the Dak A Koi river is eroded, eating deep into the road edge, posing a potential risk of traffic unsafety, especially during the rainy season. Therefore, functional sectors should soon inspect and have plans for repair and reinforcement in a timely manner.
In addition, some irrigation works managed by the province such as Nuoc To Lung, Dak A Koi and related items are degraded, affecting the ability to supply water for production. Voters proposed to soon survey and assess the current situation, have investment plans for repair and upgrade, and ensure irrigation needs.
Representatives of Dak Koi commune leaders and Delegation No. 9 of the Provincial People's Council directly answered and clarified many opinions under their authority. For the remaining recommendations, the delegation will receive and summarize them to transfer to functional agencies for consideration and resolution in the near future.
