The meeting with voters was held directly at the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee Hall and connected online with 10 connecting points in the commune, ward, and special zone of Phu Quy.
Mr. Tran Hong Thai - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Lam Dong province; Ms. Pham Thi Phuc - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee co-chaired this conference.
This is a meeting with voters after the second session of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Council after the merger of the province.
At this forum, 25 voters expressed their opinions, reflecting more than 70 contents related to the fields of life and social security in localities and grassroots.
Notably, the traffic infrastructure is seriously degraded on many inter-commune and inter-village roads, intra-field roads, and suspension bridges, causing unsafety and obstructing traffic. Voters recommend that the province soon invest in upgrading and expanding to serve traffic, production and living needs.
People also reported the situation of some traffic routes with potential safety risks such as: The road crossings are blurred, many sewers discharged directly onto the road causing pollution, old electrical and telecommunication cables are not cleaned after repair... Voters hope that the government and related units will soon rectify and overcome this situation.
At the same time, many households have not been granted land use rights due to land belonging to forestry farms, project land or slow processing of documents. People recommend clearly defining the area of agricultural land and forestry land, simplifying procedures, and considering granting books for the area of abandoned land that has been cultivated for decades.
People also hope to extend the long-term lease of the beach so that people can confidently invest and stabilize their livelihoods.
Regarding social security, people reported that there is still a shortage of electricity, lighting, and clean water for daily use in some remote areas, which need to be invested in promptly. Along with that, irrigation water sources for agricultural production in some places are still limited, and it is necessary to build more small dams...
At the conference, the opinions of the people were answered and committed to being resolved by leaders of 7 departments and branches.
Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Council - Mr. Pham Hong Thai emphasized: "The Provincial People's Council will continue to accompany the people, listen and absorb opinions to improve policies. The People's Council also closely monitors, ensuring that all commitments of departments and branches are implemented seriously and effectively".
