According to the weekly work program from September 21 to 27, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Long province coordinated with Pham Hung Political School to organize 2 professional training classes on Front work, phase 3, taking place from September 21 to 25.
The activity aims to continue professional training for the contingent of Front officials and socio-political organizations at the commune level, contributing to improving skills in performing tasks in the new situation.
During the week, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province continued to inspect the implementation of the Campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" in An Hiep and Bao Thanh communes; supervised the thematic implementation of digital transformation and building the "Digital Front" at the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Cau Ngang commune.
Professional departments advise on preparing for the preliminary conference to evaluate the results of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province and Front work in the first 9 months of the year, key tasks for the fourth quarter of 2026; organize meetings with mass organizations assigned tasks by the Party and State in the province.
Previously, from September 14 to 20, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee participated in many activities of the Provincial Party Committee, supervising and inspecting the implementation of campaigns, policies and personnel work; and at the same time deploying social security activities, taking care of union members, association members and people in difficult circumstances.
The Trade Union Affairs Committee organized the "Mid-Autumn Festival Night" at the provincial level, awarding 600 Mid-Autumn Festival gifts and 100 scholarships to children of workers in difficult circumstances. Grassroots trade unions awarded 2,364 Mid-Autumn Festival gifts, worth more than 283 million VND and 1,092 scholarships, worth more than 61 million VND.
During the week, the Farmers' Association issued 198 membership cards, received 200 sour tamarind trees to build "Farmers' Trees" and disbursed 3 loan plans from the Farmers Support Fund for 33 households, with a total capital of 1.92 billion VND.
The Youth Union and Children's Affairs Committee maintained social security activities, presented 313 gifts to poor students overcoming difficulties; supported 279 policy families, former youth volunteers, and difficult families; built 3 new bridges, 5 houses of gratitude and lit 1,000m of rural roads.
