According to a report from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Long province, from August 3 to 9, the Standing Committee participated in the 33rd Diplomatic Conference, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council and the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Party Committee.
The Standing Committee attended the preliminary review of the Front's work, appraised the urban planning of Binh Dai, Ba Tri; drilled the defense area of Duyen Hai ward, started the clean water project and cared for Agent Orange victims.
The Provincial Fatherland Front Agency disbursed 10 million VND from the "For the Poor" Fund to support 2 cases of critical illness in Binh Phu commune; allocated 250 million VND to buy 200 water tanks for households in difficult circumstances.
The "Rescue Mobilization" Fund supported 5 million VND for households in Phu Phung commune who were completely affected by landslides, and 5 million VND for children who drowned in Long Huu commune.
The Democracy, Supervision and Social Criticism Committee advised on 4 drafts, contributed opinions on 19 drafts; received and forwarded feedback on the Front Portal No. 24/7, reaching 36/36 cases.
The Trade Union Affairs Committee updated union member data, inspected the Charter at 5 grassroots trade unions, supervised policies at 3 enterprises and cared for employees for more than 75.5 million VND.
The Farmers' Association Working Committee guided 60 members to install the Vietnam Farmers' Platform app; appraised a 500 million VND coconut garden renovation project for 10 households, disbursing 1.42 billion VND.
The Youth Union and Children's Affairs Committee organized the Robotics final, propaganda of Front Gate No. 24/7, study of political theory; the Women's Affairs Committee prepared professional training and crime prevention.
The Veterans Affairs Committee attended the handover of martyrs' remains, supported 80 million VND to build street lights; the Youth and Children's Center prepared 6 playgrounds, and the Farmers' Support Center opened 7 classes.
