When the whole country is looking towards the great holiday of the nation - commemorating the 81st anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's reading of the Declaration of Independence (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2026), the example of steadfast dedication of veteran Party member Bui Thi Lieu has become a source of proud patriotic tradition education.
In the Party Badge awarding ceremony at the Da Nang City Party Committee Hall on May 19, Standing Secretary of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu and Da Nang City Party Secretary Le Ngoc Quang respectfully attached the 80-year Party Badge and awarded Certificates to veteran Party member Bui Thi Lieu.
Party member Bui Thi Lieu was born on January 1, 1926, native of Tam Anh commune (now Da Nang City). She joined the Party on April 22, 1948 and became an official party member on July 22, 1948 - the arduous years of national resistance right after the success of the August Revolution. Currently, Ms. Bui Thi Lieu is participating in Party activities at the Party Cell of Residential Area 23, Hoa Cuong Ward Party Committee (Da Nang City).
The 80-year Party badge is not only a special recognition of the Party for Ms. Bui Thi Lieu personally, but in the atmosphere of these historic August days, it is also a beautiful symbol of the continuation of the revolutionary flow, reminding today's young generation to always cherish the value of independence and freedom.
