According to records of Lao Dong Newspaper reporters, on the morning and noon of August 25, on National Highway 1A, passing through Hoat Giang commune, Thanh Hoa province, deep flooding occurred, affecting the traffic of vehicles.
The flooded location is right in front of the gate of Venus Vietnam Shoe Co., Ltd., stretching about 100m and affecting both directions of traffic. Due to deep flooding, most vehicles passing through this area have to slow down and move slowly to ensure safety.
At the flooded point, functional forces have placed warning signs and guided vehicles to circulate. While large vehicles can still move slowly through the flooded area, many cars and motorbikes choose to follow the bypass road right next to National Highway 1A.
According to records, some cars, motorbikes and small trucks trying to pass through the flooded section stalled and had to call for rescue vehicles.
By noon on August 25, the water in this area had not yet receded, causing traffic on National Highway 1A through Hoat Giang commune to face many difficulties.
