On the morning of July 28, the 4th Conference of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City, term I, term 2025-2030, consulted and elected Mr. Nguyen Dinh Vinh, Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee, to hold the position of Chairman of the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.
The conference also consulted to supplement and consolidate the Committee and the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city according to the provisions of the Charter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
At the conference, Mr. Le Ngoc Quang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee congratulated Mr. Nguyen Dinh Vinh on being trusted with a new important responsibility; and at the same time requested the new Chairman of the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to continue to promote the connecting role between the Party, government and people; innovate the Front's activities to strongly focus on grassroots levels, be close to the people, and promptly grasp and propose solutions to legitimate aspirations right from the grassroots level.
Da Nang City Party Secretary wishes the Front organization to improve the quality of supervision and social criticism; participate in building a clean and strong political system.
Accepting the task, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Vinh said that this is not only the trust of the organization but also a great responsibility to the Party Committee, government, people of the city and the team of Front officials, in the context of Da Nang entering a new stage of development.
Mr. Nguyen Dinh Vinh, 51 years old, from Dien Ban commune, Da Nang city, holds a doctorate in Literature.
He has held many positions in the fields of education, journalism and Party work such as Principal of Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted, Deputy Director and Director of Da Nang City Department of Education and Training, Editor-in-Chief of Da Nang Newspaper, Secretary of Ngu Hanh Son District Party Committee, Head of Propaganda Department and Head of Da Nang City Party Committee Organization Department.
In June 2024, he was elected Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee. After Da Nang and Quang Nam arranged administrative units, he was assigned to hold the position of Standing Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee.
Mr. Nguyen Dinh Vinh succeeded Mr. Le Tri Thanh, who was just transferred and appointed by the Secretariat to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of Hue City Party Committee for the term 2025 - 2030. After that, Mr. Thanh was elected by Hue City People's Council to hold the position of Chairman of Hue City People's Committee for the term 2026 - 2031.
