Vinh Long province starts construction of 15 solidarity houses for disadvantaged households

Vinh Long - The Provincial Fatherland Front Committee coordinated with Duyen Hai Thermal Power Company to support 15 houses, helping disadvantaged households stabilize their lives.

On November 6, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Vinh Long province coordinated with Duyen Hai Thermal Power Company to hold a groundbreaking ceremony for 15 solidarity houses in Con Ong hamlet (Duyen Hai ward), aiming to celebrate the 1st Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress, term 2025-2030.

Each house is supported by Duyen Hai Thermal Power Company with 60 million VND, helping families build solid houses, stabilize their lives and settle down for a long time.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Le Van Han thanked Duyen Hai Thermal Power Company for accompanying the province in social security activities, caring for poor households, especially giving solidarity houses to households with housing difficulties.

He also encouraged the households receiving the house to strive to improve their lives, improve their family economy and actively participate in local revolutionary movements.

"In order to achieve the achievement of welcoming the 1st Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress, in addition to supporting housing, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee also mobilizes the construction of bridges, rural roads, giving gifts to poor households, disadvantaged students... to effectively implement social security policies in the area", Mr. Han added.
