On December 22, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city led by Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city Le Tri Thanh visited and congratulated the City Veterans Association on the occasion of the 81st anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2025) and the 36th anniversary of the National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2025).
Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city Le Tri Thanh sent his condolences and congratulations to the collective of leaders, cadres, and members of the City Veterans Association; at the same time, expressed his respect and deep gratitude for the great contributions and sacrifices of generations of veterans in the cause of national liberation, national construction and defense of the Fatherland.
The Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city acknowledged and highly appreciated the role and position of the City Veterans Association in the political system.
Mr. Thanh affirmed that in recent times, the Associations at all levels have promoted the tradition and qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers", actively participated in building the Party, government, and Front; effectively implemented patriotic emulation movements and campaigns, contributing to maintaining political stability, social order and safety and promoting the socio-economic development of the city.
The representative of the city's Veterans Association thanked the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee for their attention and encouragement. At the same time, he affirmed that he will continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, innovate the content and methods of operation, mobilize exemplary cadres and members, actively participate in movements and campaigns launched by the Front, contributing to building the city to develop more and more sustainably.
