On the afternoon of June 7, it was recorded that Vinh Market, Nghe An's largest traditional market, showed that most businesses had resumed operations.
A representative of Vinh Market Management Board said: As soon as we grasped the situation of many kiosks closing because traders were worried about the authorities checking, we increased mobilization and propaganda for traders to return to business soon, to avoid disrupting the supply chain of goods. At the same time, instruct households to prepare full documents, invoices, and list prices to avoid being passive if there is an inspection".

The closure lasted for more than a week, greatly affecting the commercial activities of Vinh City and neighboring areas. Many traders said that returning to business is mandatory because this is the main source of life, but still hoped that industry levels would have policies suitable to the current difficult reality.
We hope the city will consider reducing the tax rate, because business has been very sluggish in recent years, a trader shared.

City People's Committee. Vinh held a meeting in early June with the participation of the Department of Industry and Trade, Vinh Market Management Board, People's Committee of Vinh Tan Ward and related parties. Regarding the recommendations on the price of kiosk services, the city leaders requested the Market Management Board to review the location, survey and collect comments and report to the competent authority.
Mr. Tran Quang Lam - Vice Chairman of Vinh City People's Committee - emphasized: "Shopping at traditional markets is facing many challenges from supermarkets and online markets. The construction of new service prices needs to harmonize the interests of the State and small traders, close to reality and not affect budget revenue".
Previously, as Lao Dong reported, around the end of May and the beginning of June 2025, a series of traders closed kiosks at Vinh market. The reason was determined to be that some traders recommended that kiosk rental prices be too high, while the business situation was difficult and sluggish. On the other hand, some households have stopped doing business due to fear of inspection teams of counterfeit and counterfeit goods in the province.
