The project is sponsored by Agribank with 15 billion VND from social security sources, contributing to improving grassroots health capacity, improving initial health care conditions for people in border areas. This is a practical activity demonstrating the companionship of Agribank with local Party committees, authorities and the Police force in implementing social security goals, towards the community; and at the same time affirming the responsibility of the key state-owned commercial bank in spreading human values and contributing to building a sustainable development foundation in the Fatherland's border area.
Attending the groundbreaking ceremony were Colonel Vu Thanh Tung, Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of Lang Son Provincial Police; Comrade Doan Thanh Son, Vice Chairman of Lang Son Provincial People's Committee; along with representatives of leaders of departments, agencies, branches, local authorities and a large number of people in the area.
On the side of Agribank were Comrade To Huy Vu, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Member Council; Comrade Pham Toan Vuong, Member of the Member Council, General Director and representatives of leaders of units at the Head Office and Agribank Lang Son Branch.
Located in the northern border of the Fatherland, Thuy Hung commune is an important border area of Lang Son province. The whole commune has 27 villages with 1,602 households, 6,890 people, of which 10 villages border; the border line is nearly 23km long. The area is large, the hilly terrain is complex, and people's lives mainly depend on small-scale agricultural and forestry production. Although the local socio-economy has had many positive changes, people's access to quality health services is still facing many difficulties.
The groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of Thuy Hung Commune Health Station is of great significance, not only a joy for local people but also a mark in the joint efforts of Agribank, the Party Committee, government and the Police force of Lang Son province to improve the quality of social security and care for the health of people in border areas.
Speaking at the ceremony, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Member Council of Agribank affirmed that caring for people's lives, ensuring social security and improving the quality of health services is a consistent policy of the Party and State. Imbued with that spirit, Agribank always accompanies localities, especially in remote and isolated areas, ethnic minority areas and border areas.

In the period 2020 - 2025, Agribank has allocated over 2,750 billion VND for social security activities nationwide; in 2025 alone, nearly 700 billion VND was allocated to the fields of education, health, sustainable poverty reduction, disaster recovery and care for policy beneficiaries.
In Lang Son, in the period 2021 - 2026, Agribank has implemented social security programs with a total budget of more than 44 billion VND, focusing on health, education, support for poor households and other social activities. Many projects after completion have contributed to improving living conditions, improving the quality of public services and promoting local socio-economic development.
According to Agribank leaders, the sponsorship of 15 billion VND to build Thuy Hung Commune Health Station not only demonstrates the bank's social responsibility but also a sharing and desire to make practical contributions to improving the quality of life of people in border areas. When completed, the project will become a reliable primary health care address, helping people access health services more conveniently, contributing to improving the quality of community health care.
