The economic structure shifted strongly to high-tech industry and modern services.
The economic space is highly concentrated in urban areas and key industrial parks. Urban areas currently account for 53% of the number of establishments and 63% of the total labor force of the whole province. The whole province has 54 communes and wards with operating industrial zones and clusters, concentrating up to 88.9% of businesses and 96.2% of enterprise labor of the province.
Thanks to the application of technology, Bac Ninh completed the preliminary announcement of results 7 months ahead of the Central plan.
Speaking to direct the conference, Vice Chairman of Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee Ngo Tan Phuong praised the efforts of the forces participating in TĐTKT in 2026, and affirmed that the early completion of preliminary results has created a strategic data warehouse for the province. Mr. Ngo Tan Phuong emphasized that this result is an important foundation for Bac Ninh to build a digital government and develop smart cities.
To promote the effectiveness of the data source, the Vice Chairman of Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee requested the statistics sector to complete official data and build a common database.
Departments, branches, and localities must consider this as an official basis for formulating socio-economic development plans and plans, promoting inter-sectoral data connection and sharing, and improving the analytical capacity of the staff.
