To date, Ca Mau province has 554 social housing (NOXH) units formed in the future approved for sale, reaching more than 92% of the target of 600 units assigned by the Government and the Provincial People's Committee in 2026.
Among these, the NOXH project in hamlet 5, ward 9, invested by the Joint Venture of A Dong Infrastructure Construction and Development Joint Stock Company and CIC Investment Joint Stock Company, has 336 apartments. The NOXH project in Tan Xuyen ward, invested by Ca Mau Housing Investment and Development Joint Stock Company, has 218 apartments.

According to the investor, 218 low-rise social housing units in Tan Xuyen ward are being opened for sale at a price of about 13.27 million VND/m2. Each unit costs from 670-850 million VND, the usable area is from 65.6-98.3m2, which is assessed to be suitable for the financial capacity of low-income people and workers.
Along with developing the supply of social housing, Ca Mau construction industry also completed the recovery and appraisal for new leasing of 3 social housing units; completed dossiers to submit to the Provincial People's Committee to transfer the public housing system including 297 old houses, 99 social housing units, 41 public houses and 142 accommodation rooms to the Provincial Land Fund Development Center for management.
The Department of Construction also confirmed that it is eligible to buy social housing for 176 more households, bringing the total number to 341 households; and updated data to the National Housing Information System and Real Estate Market.
Mr. Nguyen Truong Han - Deputy Director of the Department of Construction of Ca Mau province - said that the unit is coordinating with investors to remove obstacles in site clearance, planning and legal procedures; and at the same time strengthen guidance for local authorities, promptly resolve arising issues to accelerate progress, determined to complete the target of 600 social housing units in 2026.
