On July 15, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City Tran Chi Cuong signed a decision to administratively sanction Mega Premium Shopping Mall business household (address 106 - 108 Tran Phu, Hai Chau ward), this business household committed an administrative violation of displaying to sell counterfeit goods.

Previously, at 5:00 p.m. on June 17, the inspection team of Market Management Team No. 2 (Da Nang City Market Management) inspected the business activities of Mega Premium store belonging to the above-mentioned business household.

Through inspection, it was discovered that this business household was selling goods (bags, wallets of all kinds, glasses, belts) including 232 product units with counterfeit signs of the brands Gucci, Chanel, Christian Dior, Bottega Veneta, Celine that are protected in Vietnam. The total value of the goods was determined at the time of inspection to be more than 183 million VND.

Pursuant to the provisions of Decree 99 2013 of the Government, the People's Committee of Da Nang City fined this business household 102.5 million VND and forced the destruction of counterfeit goods including the above 232 product units.

Recently, Da Nang City authorities have increased inspections and discovered many stores on central streets selling famous brand counterfeit goods that are protected in Vietnam.

Many decisions on administrative sanctions and requests for destruction of goods have been issued to rectify the situation of violations in business activities.
