The People's Committee of Da Nang City has just issued a decision to administratively sanction a business household Black Label Shop (Tran Phu Street, Hai Chau District) with a total amount of more than 111 million VND for displaying to sell counterfeit goods and repeating the offense.
Previously, on May 20, the Market Management force conducted a surprise inspection of this store and discovered 127 handbags with signs of counterfeiting high-end brands that are protected in Vietnam, including Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Prada, Christian Dior and Celine. The total value of this violating shipment was determined to be 151.8 million VND.
It is noteworthy that this is not the first time this facility has violated. According to the records, Market Management Team No. 1 has fined the Black Label Shop business household for similar behavior. Therefore, this violation was determined to be a recidivism, an aggravating circumstance.
For repeated violations, the People's Committee of Da Nang City has applied a strict penalty. In addition to having to pay a fine of more than 111 million VND, the owner of the facility was also subject to remedial measures of being forced to destroy all 127 brand-counterfeit handbag products according to the provisions of law.
