On March 10, Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee issued an official dispatch to implement solutions to ensure the supply of gasoline and oil for production, business and consumption of people and businesses.
Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee directed the Department of Industry and Trade to guide dossiers and procedures, creating favorable conditions for traders in the province to carry out business activities and supply of gasoline and oil.
In particular, the Department needs to strengthen inspection and supervision of key traders and gasoline and oil distribution traders in the province; propagate and guide traders to strictly comply with the provisions of law on gasoline and oil business; raise awareness of responsibility in ensuring supply and stabilizing the market.
The Department also directed the Market Management force to implement market management professional measures.

For Commune and Ward People's Committees, Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee requests to proactively grasp the situation of retail gasoline and LPG activities in the area, promptly detect cases of violations in business activities, handle them according to their authority or transfer information and cases to competent agencies and people for handling in accordance with the law.
Promptly report to the Department of Industry and Trade on the operating situation of gasoline and oil retail stores in the area to implement solutions to stabilize the gasoline and oil business market to ensure production, business and consumption of people and businesses in the province.
Communes and wards must strengthen propaganda and mobilize people to only buy gasoline and oil just enough for their needs, not to buy and store gasoline and oil at home to ensure fire safety, ensure the lives and health of families.
For gasoline and oil traders in the province, they must comply with legal regulations on gasoline and oil business. The Provincial People's Committee requests that they absolutely do not hoard goods waiting for price increases, do not arbitrarily reduce sales hours, and strictly prohibit closing or stopping sales when there is no legitimate reason and has not been approved in writing by a competent authority as prescribed.
