BJC Big C Group, led by Mr. Aswin - Ms. Thapanee Techajareonvikul, CEO cum General Director and Senior Deputy General Director, brought a delegation of more than 20 analysts to visit and learn about retail and wholesale business activities in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
This visit includes surveying the core business segments of the Group, typically MM Mega Market Vietnam (MMVN), and listening to the overview presentation of operations from the MMVN leadership team. Through this, investors have the opportunity to directly observe business operations, better understand consumer behavior, market structure as well as the growth potential of the retail and wholesale sector in Vietnam.
Vietnam is considered one of the high-potential markets in Southeast Asia, thanks to continuous economic growth. According to data from international statistical organizations, Vietnam's GDP in the past 3 years has grown by an average of about 6–7% per year, while GDP per capita has reached about 4,700–5,000 USD/person. This reflects the purchasing power of people and the significant expansion of the middle class, especially in large cities – a key factor promoting the development of the retail and wholesale industry (referring to data from the World Bank and international economic organizations).
BJC believes that Vietnam is not only a market with high growth rates but also possesses a large working-age population, an increasingly complete supply chain system and a favorable business environment for long-term investment. These factors are consistent with the Group's strategy in building balanced and sustainable growth in the ASEAN region.

Mr. Aswin and Ms. Thapanee said that bringing the investor delegation to visit business activities this time is part of an effort to enhance in-depth understanding of BJC's operational orientation, especially in strategic markets such as Vietnam. The Group has a comprehensive willingness in terms of experience, business network and understanding of the local market to support long-term expansion and continuous value increase for shareholders.
BJC's continued promotion of investment in Vietnam reflects a firm belief in the potential of the ASEAN economy, while affirming the Group's role as one of the leading enterprises in the retail and wholesale sector, towards sustainable growth at the regional level.

BJC is a leading large-scale multi-industry economic group in Thailand, operating in many fields, from packaging production, consumer products, medical equipment business, and retail. Over the past decades, the Group has continuously implemented large investments, along with expertise and extensive experience in the Vietnamese market. To date, BJC Group is providing Packaging Solutions, Consumer Solutions, Health & Technical Solutions, Retail and Wholesale Solutions in Vietnam with a total investment of over 1 billion USD.
MM Mega Market Vietnam, after nearly 25 years of operation, has expanded its presence with 21 wholesale and supermarket centers nationwide, 01 Shopping Center and 08 delivery warehouses serving B2B customers.
