Getting rich is not difficult from clean rice

Although the enterprise guaranteed a price of 11,000 VND/kg, but production had to follow the correct process, Mr. Trung and many farmers here initially took a risk on production because they did not know what the clean rice production process was. He confided: "It is not difficult to make it, soak it, soak it, fertilize it, spray it with medicine, harvest it... but instead of fertilizing it chemically, fertilize it with organic fertilizer, instead of burning rice, treat it with organic... all are instructed by engineers".
In 2019, ST25 rice was recognized as the best rice in the world, and Ca Mau people have gradually shifted from traditional rice production to fragrant rice. In 2023, ST25 rice continued to be awarded the world's best rice award for the second time. This shows that ST fragrant rice has been accepted by the market.
After a period of producing ST fragrant rice, many rice areas in Ca Mau have turned to clean rice. In Lang Tron ward, the Clean Rice Production Cooperative still uses the ST 24 variety set, but the clean production process results in high-quality clean rice products and rice grains that are accepted by the market.

Meanwhile, in Vinh Thanh commune, TH Food Chain Joint Stock Company guides people to use organic fertilizers to produce Dai Thom 8 rice varieties in the direction of clean rice.

As a pilot locality for a high-quality, low-emission rice production model, Vinh Thanh commune has made clear changes. Farmers no longer cultivate according to habits but start applying modern methods: using machinery, managing water appropriately, choosing varieties suitable for soil and climate conditions.
The most valuable thing is the change in production thinking. People know how to record farming logs, calculate costs effectively, and care about the health of the soil and the environment. Conceptions such as reducing emissions, climate change, carbulture have become closer.

The model helps increase productivity, save on seedling, fertilizer, labor costs, and bring environmental benefits: no more straw burning, wastewater is controlled and treated circulationally.
