Towards the industrial and logistics center of the Mekong Delta

To achieve this goal, Mr. Le Cong Ly - Head of the Management Board of Export Processing and Industrial Zones of Can Tho City said that the Board will closely follow the city's industrial development plan, associated with strategic traffic axes. The industrial parks and industrial clusters will be developed along the two expressways Can Tho - Ca Mau and Chau Doc - Can Tho - Soc Trang. The industrial parks located in the urban core will gradually adjust to the outside, but still ensure connection with the center to take advantage of high-quality human resources and support services.
The Management Board has advised the City Party Committee and the City People's Committee to include the industrial park development plan for the period 2026 - 2030 in the action program to implement the Resolution of the City Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, creating a basis for attracting infrastructure investment and inviting secondary investors. The presence of these investors will contribute to increasing production value, aiming for double-digit economic growth in the new period.
