At 6:00 PM on September 15, world oil prices simultaneously increased. WTI oil price was at 102.51 USD/barrel, up 1.12 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 1.1%. Brent oil was at 106.27 USD/barrel, up 0.59 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.56%.

In the short term, the 100 USD/barrel mark is becoming an important price range. If East-West Pipeline continues to stop operating and oil flows through Hormuz do not improve, oil prices are likely to remain above 100 USD/barrel and continue to rise. The selling prices of popular consumer gasoline and oil items in the domestic market in the operating period on September 15 are as follows:

- E5 RON92 gasoline: not higher than 23,744 VND/liter, lower than E10 RON95-III gasoline by 495 VND/liter;

- E10 RON95-III gasoline: not higher than 24,239 VND/liter;

- Diesel oil 0.05S: not higher than 28,485 VND/liter;

- Mazut oil 180CST 3.5S: not higher than 18,157 VND/kg.

- Regarding oil prices: Thailand: 30,669 VND/liter (Government subsidies); Cambodia: 33,218 VND/liter; Laos: 40,176 VND/liter; China: 29,824 VND/liter (Government price control); Vietnam: 28,485 VND/liter.

Vietnam's gasoline and oil prices are currently low compared to countries sharing a common border.
