On July 11, the self-management team of the Mui Ne fishing village embankment area (Mui Ne ward, Lam Dong province) launched a surprise inspection of seafood trading activities.
Through inspection, functional forces grasped information about 3 warehouses specializing in supplying poor quality lobsters to sellers in the fishing village area.
According to initial information, the source of poor quality lobsters is imported by warehouses from cold storages outside the province before being supplied to sellers.
Leaders of Mui Ne Ward People's Committee said that the self-management team has compiled a list and grasped basic information of 20 people who are trading in the fishing village area.
Households are propagated and reminded not to commit fraud in business, not to sell poor quality seafood, affecting the rights and experiences of tourists.

For the 3 warehouses that were reported to supply poor quality lobsters, the locality will invite facility owners to work to verify and handle from the source of supply.
Previously, from the end of June 2026, Mui Ne Ward People's Committee established a self-management team in the Lang Chai embankment area to promptly inspect and handle complex situations arising.
The self-management team is headed by the Deputy Director of the ward General Service Center, and members perform the task of inspecting business operations, maintaining security and order and the image of the destination.
In addition, Mui Ne ward has established a rapid response team for tourism, publicizing hotline phone numbers to receive feedback from people and tourists.
Tracing the source of poor quality lobster supply instead of just rectifying retailers shows that the locality is focusing on handling from the source. Thereby, preventing substandard seafood from reaching tourists, protecting consumer rights and preserving the image of Mui Ne tourism.
