On April 7, news from the Office of Ha Tinh Provincial People's Committee said that Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Bau Ha signed a document approving the plan for the connection line direction and location of transformer stations for the Ky Anh Wind Power Plant and Eco Wind Ky Anh Wind Power Plant projects (invested by VinEnergo Energy Joint Stock Company) according to the proposal of the Department of Industry and Trade.
According to the approval document, VinEnergo Energy Joint Stock Company and the Department of Industry and Trade are fully responsible before the law, the Provincial People's Committee and relevant agencies for the legality, accuracy, and ensuring legal regulations of the contents of reports, data, and route plans that have been appraised, advised, and proposed.
Assign the People's Committees of communes: Cam Xuyen, Cam Due, Cam Binh, Ky Anh, Yen Hoa according to their functions, tasks, and managed areas to preside over and coordinate with the investor and relevant agencies and units to carry out site clearance, land procedures and other related contents to implement according to regulations.
Units and localities with the above names and relevant agencies according to their functions and tasks urgently update the direction of power lines and the location of transformer stations of the Ky Anh Wind Power Plant and Eco Wind Ky Anh Wind Power Plant projects to ensure synchronization and unity between sectoral and field plans; guide, inspect, and support investors to implement in accordance with regulations, ensuring progress.
According to the investment policy approval and investor approval decisions of Ha Tinh Provincial People's Committee, the Ky Anh Wind Power Plant Project has a total estimated investment capital of 17,051 billion VND, implemented in Ky Xuan, Ky Anh and Ky Khang communes, using more than 880 hectares of land and sea surface.
The project's operating term is 50 years from the date of land allocation, land lease, and water surface. The project implementation progress is to complete the entire project and put it into operation and exploitation in the fourth quarter of 2028.
The Eco Wind Ky Anh Wind Power Plant project has a total investment of 22,647 billion VND, using more than 1,180 hectares of land and sea surface, stretching across Dong Tien, Yen Hoa, Thien Cam, Cam Trung and Ky Xuan communes. Construction is expected to start in the fourth quarter of 2026 and put into operation from the fourth quarter of 2028, with a operating term of 50 years.
