In recent years, with strong investment in upgrading the transport infrastructure system, Phu Tho town is gradually becoming an intermediary urban area connecting the midland and mountainous areas of the North with the capital Hanoi and the provinces of the Northern Delta.
Phu Tho town currently has many important national traffic routes passing through such as: Noi Bai - Lao Cai Expressway (IC9 Interchange), Tuyen Quang - Phu Tho Expressway (end point), Ho Chi Minh Road, National Highway 2... The traffic advantage brings Phu Tho town many opportunities to develop industry in particular and socio-economy in general.
By the end of 2024, the "trump card" named Phu Ha Industrial Park had attracted nearly 30 foreign investors with a total capital of about 1.2 billion USD, creating jobs for more than 23,000 workers inside and outside the province... Contributing more than 70% of the estimated export value of nearly 16 billion USD, an increase of 43% over the same period of Phu Tho province in 2024.
Along with attracting more investors to Phu Ha Industrial Park, continuing the development momentum, Phu Tho town is currently urgently implementing site clearance for Phu Ho Industrial Park, with a total area of 75 hectares located entirely in Phu Ho commune (only about 2km from Phu Ha Industrial Park).
Phu Ho Industrial Cluster was established under Decision No. 769/QD-UBND dated April 14, 2023 of the People's Committee of Phu Tho province; the detailed planning at a scale of 1/500 was approved under Decision No. 3362/QD-UBND dated October 11, 2023 of the People's Committee of Phu Tho town. It is expected that by December 2025, Phu Ho Industrial Cluster will complete the technical infrastructure system and attract secondary investment.
The investor of the Phu Ho Industrial Cluster Infrastructure Investment and Business Project is Nam Hoang Viet Joint Stock Company, with a total estimated investment of 532 billion VND. This industrial cluster will prioritize attracting investment in supporting industries, high-tech industries, and environmentally friendly industries.
According to the report of the Phu Tho Town Land Fund Development Center, during the process of clearing the Phu Ho Industrial Park, it is expected that about 350 households will be affected. Up to now, the compensation plan for 134 graves (including 6 anonymous graves) has been inventoried and made public with a compensation and support budget of 2.24 billion VND; 49/75 hectares of agricultural land of 205 households have been inventoried...

The economy of the communes surrounding Phu Ha industrial park such as Phu Ho, Ha Thach, Ha Loc is developing rapidly. I hope that Phu Ho industrial park will soon be built, attracting many businesses like Phu Ha industrial park, not causing environmental pollution and creating jobs for workers".
According to the reporter's investigation, the People's Committee of Phu Tho town is preparing to select contractors for survey consulting packages and investment preparation for the project: Construction of traffic roads to Phu Ho industrial cluster, Phu Tho town with a total investment of 55 billion VND.
The above traffic project is implemented with the goal of connecting Phu Ho industrial cluster with National Highway 2 and other routes in the area; meeting the needs of travel, trade and transportation when Phu Ho industrial cluster comes into operation. At the same time, it continues to develop the traffic network and promote local socio-economic development.
