Tan Duong Industrial Cluster project has a total investment of more than 450 billion VND, invested by Thagaco International Investment Joint Stock Company, and started construction in November 2022.
The project is deployed on an area of 13 hectares in Tan Duong commune (Dinh Hoa, Thai Nguyen), with a prime traffic location, next to provincial road 254, Ho Chi Minh road and surrounded by densely populated areas.
On January 7, according to PV, after more than 2 years of implementation, the Tan Duong industrial cluster project has gradually taken shape and completed basic infrastructure items.
Inside the project, the ground, embankment, and fence of the industrial park have been completed. At the construction site, workers and machines are constructing internal roads, water supply and drainage systems, wastewater treatment, and auxiliary items.
To implement the industrial cluster, more than 200 households had their land confiscated, mainly rice fields and production forests. Mr. Nguyen Cong Hieu (Tan Duong commune) said that when the information about the project being implemented in the area was received, the people were very sympathetic and supportive.
"Many children of these families currently have to work in companies and industrial parks far from home. When the project was brought back, the people were very happy and excited because this was the first large project to be implemented in the poor district of Dinh Hoa. When the project is completed and put into operation, it will certainly create many jobs, people will have jobs right in the locality, no need to go far to find work anymore", Mr. Hieu shared.
According to the investor, Tan Duong Industrial Park project is the first industrial park with the largest scale in Dinh Hoa district, expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2025.
After completing the infrastructure, the investor will build a factory and install a production line with a capacity of 2.2 million garment products/year. It is expected to create regular jobs for nearly 4,500 workers.
The industrial cluster will also attract projects for processing agricultural, forestry and food products and other industrial and handicraft sectors in accordance with local planning.
Speaking to reporters, a leader of Tan Duong Commune People's Committee said that the construction process at the project was very favorable, and the people agreed and supported it.
"The district sent 32 people to the commune to learn sewing so that they can later work in the industrial park. This is one of the key and meaningful projects for the locality. When completed, it will create many jobs for workers and thereby help develop the local economy," the commune leader informed.
