Regarding the information that a customer in Nha Trang ordered 2 glasses of smoothies with a total value of 72,000 VND and then requested an invoice, a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper had a discussion with a representative of a T.N smoothie restaurant, located at 20 Pasteur, Van Thanh Ward, Nha Trang City.
According to information from the tax authority, the above business household registered under a contract by Ms. Pham Thi Ngoc Hoai. The restaurant representative is Mr. Pham Van Thao - Mrs. Hoai's husband.
Mr. Pham Van Thao - Ms. Ngoc Hoai's husband - said that after receiving the customer's feedback, the restaurant held a staff meeting and extracted the camera to check.
The staff confirmed that on the evening of May 22, no customer requested an invoice for 2 glasses of smoothies.
However, after receiving the report, the T.N smoothie restaurant worked with the tax authority and local authorities.
According to instructions from the authorities, in case customers need to issue invoices for retail transactions, they can contact the restaurant directly to be supported in preparing procedures to request the tax authority to issue invoices for each arising issue.
However, from the evening of May 22 until now, no customer has returned to the restaurant to receive a bill for 2 glasses of smoothies for 72,000 VND.
Mr. Pham Van Thao was also very surprised because this was the first time he had received such an offer, while he had never encountered a similar situation before.
According to Mr. Thao, because it operates under a contract, individual export must be carried out according to a separate process, specifically guided by the tax authority.
Meanwhile, the value of smoothie glasses is low, the time to prepare and process procedures to issue invoices usually takes about 1 week, so customers rarely need to issue invoices.
