Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bamboo Capital Kou Kok Yiow (Chris) suddenly passed away on March 8, 2025 due to a myocardial infarction, at the age of 63.

On March 17, Bamboo Capital Group announced that Chairman of the Board of Directors Kou Kok Yiow (Chris) had suddenly passed away on March 8, 2025 due to a heart attack, at the age of 63. The funeral was held in Singapore.

In the official announcement, Bamboo Capital Group said: Mr. Kou Kok Yiow has accompanied Bamboo Capital since its inception and has held the following positions: Advisor, Member of the Board of Supervisors, on April 27, 2024, he was elected Chairman of the Board of Directors. Bamboo Capital Group respectfully expresses its gratitude for the contributions and values that the late Chairman of the Board of Directors Kou Kok Yiow has devoted to the Group, shareholders and staff.

Bamboo Capital Group also expressed its condolences and gratitude for Mr. Kou Kok Yiow's contributions in the process of accompanying and developing the enterprise.

Recently, Bamboo Capital has also witnessed many changes in senior personnel, including the resignation of Mr. Nguyen Ho Nam and the recent prosecution of Mr. Nguyen Tung Lam from the position of General Director. However, the group's leaders affirmed that production and business activities are still taking place stably and with transparent information to ensure shareholder rights.
