Reporting to the working delegation, Mr. Tsuchibashi Akito - General Director of Meiko Electronics Co., Ltd. said that the unit currently has more than 6,000 officials and employees, and has been operating in Vietnam for nearly 20 years. The main areas of operation include: Designing, manufacturing and manufacturing electronic printed circuit boards (PCBs); assembling components on PCBs, assembling complete electronic products (EMS).
In 2025, the Company's total revenue reached 704 million USD, total accumulated state budget contributions of about 42 million USD, average income of employees of about 13 million VND/month, average Lunar New Year bonus of Binh Ngo of about 14.7 million VND.

Mr. Na Ki Hong also said that Vietnamese engineers working here have made great contributions and received positive reviews from the parent company in developing and verifying new AI technologies integrated on Samsung's latest phone models, as well as developing Vietnamese-language translation software.
Speaking at the visit and working session, Chairman of the City People's Committee Vu Dai Thang emphasized that the Samsung R&D Center in Hanoi is the first research and development center of a global corporation located in the Capital, in line with the city's development orientation to become a center of innovation, science and technology of the region.
