According to information from the Management Board of Thai Binh Economic Zone and Industrial Zones, at the end of March 2025, the VSIP Thai Binh Industrial Park Infrastructure Investment, Construction and Business Project will start construction in Thuy Truong Commune, Thai Thuy District.
Recently, Thai Thuy district has been urgently implementing compensation and site clearance, land acquisition phase 1 to implement the project.
Accordingly, the VSIP Thai Binh Industrial Park Infrastructure Investment, Construction and Business Project is being implemented in An Tan and Thuy Truong communes (Thai Thuy district) with a land use scale of 349.1432 hectares, of which phase 1 has a total land area reclaimed of 278 hectares, the remaining area is expected to be reclaimed in 2025.
The project is invested by Vietnam - Singapore Urban and Industrial Park Development Joint Stock Company (VSIP) with a total investment of more than VND 4,932 billion (equivalent to nearly 212 million USD).
The project's goal is to invest in the construction and business of industrial park infrastructure within the framework of Tan Truong Industrial - Urban - Service Park.
This is the project to carry out site clearance with the second largest area in Thai Thuy district after Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park (nearly 600 hectares) which has so far completed site clearance.
The VSIP Thai Binh Industrial Park Infrastructure Investment, Construction and Business Project is very important, promoting investment attraction and economic growth of Thai Binh province in general and Thai Thuy district in particular; creating a breakthrough in the development of Thai Binh Economic Zone, becoming a model of a high-tech industrial park, green industry, bringing high economic efficiency to the locality, creating many jobs and increasing income, improving the lives of people in Thai Thuy district.
According to the plan of the People's Committee of Thai Binh province, the purpose of the groundbreaking ceremony for the investment project to build and operate VSIP Thai Binh Industrial Park Infrastructure shows profound political and social significance, marking a development step in attracting investment in Thai Binh province in particular and diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Singapore in general.
At the same time, create a spreading force in attracting investment, creating a new momentum and new motivation to gradually elevate the economic and investment position of the province in the coming time; towards the goal of industrial development, attracting investment to become a "leverage" to consolidate and comprehensively develop the socio-economy and urban and industrial development, creating a living environment to serve the people.
