Thai Binh - For the first time in the 100-year history of formation and development, Hitejinro Group has invested in building a Soju wine factory outside Korean territory.

On February 5, at Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park (Thai Thuy district, Thai Binh province), Hitejinro Group (Korea) solemnly held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of Soju wine factory in Vietnam.

Attending the groundbreaking ceremony were Mr. Ngo Dong Hai - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; Nguyen Khac Than - Secretary of the Thai Binh Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Tien Thanh - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Thai Binh Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Manh Hung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Thai Binh Provincial People's Committee.

The Soju wine factory project in Vietnam was built on an area of 8.2 hectares with a total investment of 100 million USD. The factory is expected to complete and come into operation with a production capacity of 70 million liters of Soju/year, contributing to the central and local budgets, creating jobs for workers in the province and some neighboring localities.

At the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Kim In Kyu - General Director of Hitejinro Group - said: Soju is a traditional Korean wine that has become a global phenomenon under the brand Jinro of Hitejinro. With 19 consecutive years of being recognized as the best-selling wine in the world, Jinro is currently present in 86 countries. To expand production and business outside Korean territory, Thai Binh province is the first locality that Hitejinro Group chooses to set up Soju wine production lines. The event marked the global expansion of the world's best-selling Soju brand on the occasion of Hitejinro's 100th anniversary.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Thai Binh Provincial People's Committee - emphasized: This is an important event, selected by Thai Binh province to celebrate the new spring of At Ty 2025, clearly demonstrating the results and efforts of the province in the past time, especially creating a widespread influence in attracting investment, creating new momentum and motivation for the province's development right from the early days of spring.

The Chairman of Thai Binh Provincial People's Committee highly appreciated the investor's correct choice when deciding to develop this project in Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park - a pioneering industrial park in Thai Binh Economic Zone; at the same time affirmed that the implementation and completion of bringing factories in the Economic Zone, industrial park in general and Soju alcohol factory in particular to operation will bring great benefits to investors, actively contributing to increasing the industrial production value and export value of the province, creating more jobs and income for local workers, increasing state budget revenue, contributing to promoting the socio-economic development of Thai Binh province in general and Thai Binh Economic Zone in particular.

In order for the project to be completed and put into operation according to the progress of registration and promotion of investment efficiency, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Thai Binh Provincial People's Committee requested investors to focus resources, speed up the progress, ensure the quality and progress of the project as committed.

Comply with the provisions of the law on planning, land, investment, construction, environmental protection and relevant legal provisions; at the same time, proactively coordinate closely with departments, branches, Thai Thuy District People's Committee, and industrial park infrastructure investors during the project implementation process.
