Register business households right at home, reduce time and costs
After a year of operating the 3-level government, business registration procedures have been digitized, reducing paperwork, helping to save time and costs.
Managing a construction material business with nearly 20 employees, Mr. Nguyen Minh Tuan (Cau Giay, Hanoi) has just completed procedures to add business lines at the beginning of this year.
He said that this procedure is quite different from a few years ago.
Previously, every time papers were missing, I had to go back and forth many times. This time the dossier is submitted online, the processing progress is updated on the system, so businesses are more proactive in production plans. When there are requests for supplementation, the content is also guided quite specifically" - he said.
Ms. Tran Thu Ha (Tay Ho, Hanoi) said that business household registration can be done right at home through the National Public Service Portal using a VNeID account. The process is clearly guided, with a support switchboard, helping to save time and travel costs.
I hope that in the future, post-registration procedures such as taxes, insurance or related obligations will also continue to be connected on the same platform so that business households only need to declare once, and the data is interconnected between agencies" - she said.
Meanwhile, Mr. Le Hoang, owner of a refrigeration repair service business (Thanh Xuan, Hanoi), assessed that publicizing the status of dossier processing helps people feel more secure.
Promoting digitization, reducing paperwork
The experiences of businesses and business households also reflect the changes being implemented in administrative procedure reform in the field of business registration.
According to the Ministry of Finance, from the beginning of 2026, many business registration procedures, cooperatives and business households have been adjusted in the direction of taking digital data as the foundation, reducing paperwork and expanding the implementation of procedures in the electronic environment.
The Ministry of Finance informed that the ministry has completed the announcement of administrative procedures, and at the same time upgraded the National Information System on business registration to meet the requirements of data exploitation and implementation of business registration, cooperatives, and business households in the electronic environment through the VNeID electronic identification application.
The Ministry of Finance requests localities to unify the exploitation of data from the National Business Registration Database to replace a copy of the registration certificate in the dossier for resolving administrative procedures.
Instead of requiring people and businesses to prepare copies of legal documents as before, the business registration agency will directly exploit and use information in the National Business Registration Database to replace the copy of the Business Registration Certificate, cooperative or business household. People and businesses only have to submit copies of these documents in cases where the information on the system is incomplete or inaccurate.
For procedures carried out on the electronic environment, if an individual logs in through the National Public Service Portal or the VNeID application, they will not have to sign numbers on interactive electronic forms as prescribed. Competent persons only need to declare information on the National Information System and verify the submission of dossiers through the "Submit dossiers" operation. If the dossier submitter is an authorized person, the declaration and submission of dossiers are also carried out entirely on the electronic environment.
Currently, the Ministry of Finance continues to request localities to strengthen guidance for people, businesses, cooperatives and business households to implement procedures according to the new process; and promptly reflect difficulties and obstacles arising during the implementation process for guidance and removal.
