On April 21, the Gia Lai provincial government established working groups to go to the grassroots level to inspect the economic situation, and at the same time proposed new development directions to revive and improve people's lives.
According to assessments, many communes in old districts such as Chu Pah, Ia Grai, Dak Doa have fertile land potential, suitable for developing high-tech agriculture, forming concentrated raw material areas for agricultural exports.
However, many areas of land of people are still small-scale and fragmented production; the value of products such as coffee, passion fruit, and durian is not high. Many communes have not formed linkage chains and clean and safe growing areas to bring agricultural products to the world market.

According to Mr. Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang - Vice Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee, for development, it is necessary to resolutely plan fertile and nutrient-rich land for key crops in order to form a large growing area of hundreds of hectares. Farmers need to link chains with businesses and scientists, towards deep processing of agricultural products, increasing product value.
The province advocates bringing poor and barren land areas into construction of industrial zones and concentrated livestock farming clusters according to high-tech, closed models, without exchanging the environment for projects.
In the communes belonging to the old Ia Pa and Krong Pa districts in the past, the land was more barren, the number of sunshine hours was long, once famous for the brand "Buffalo with one sun, salt, yellow ant".
Therefore, the province orients the commune government to provide stable irrigation water sources for short-term agricultural crop production areas, and at the same time link with supermarkets and wholesale markets to find stable outlets for people's crops.

These communes bordering Dak Lak province have a characteristic hot and sunny climate, high heat radiation, suitable for developing renewable energy and concentrated livestock projects.
Currently, there are large enterprises investing in this field such as Trang Duc Solar Energy Joint Stock Company, Chu Ngoc Solar Power Joint Stock Company.
These appropriate orientations will help commune authorities recognize the specific potential of each area, thereby having plans to develop and improve people's lives.
