Also within the framework of the conference, Vinamilk won the two main categories of the 2025 World Dairy Innovation Awards in the categories of Best Yogurt and Best Packaging Design.
The global dairy industry and the rise of Asia
The Global Dairy Congress is a high-level forum that brings together nearly 200 leaders in the dairy industry to share, discuss and update information on the latest developments and future trends of the entire industry. This year, the conference chose the theme "Dairy for All Ages", raising a big problem: how milk products are increasingly better suited to all nutritional needs, affirming the natural nutritional value of milk for sustainable development.

In addition to the participation of countries considered the "cradle of the dairy industry" such as the US, New Zealand, Europe..., in recent years, the conference has the participation of large enterprises from Asia such as: China or India with the advantage of the "native" market size or Japan is known as a technology developed country. From Southeast Asia, Vietnam started participating in the conference in 2019 with a typical enterprise, Vinamilk, which is also the only representative of the region to present a speech.
Ms. Laurence Rycken, General Director of the International Dairy Federation (IDF), commented: Currently, the IDF has members from India, Japan, South Korea and China. We really hope to have more members from Vietnam and Asia participate. Vinamilk is a large enterprise in the region. After many years of attending the Global Milk conferences, I see that Vietnam and Vinamilk have many success stories, which are worth learning from from other markets.

During the 2 days of the conference, there were more than 20 valuable presentations and 4 in-depth seminars from leading corporations and units of the world's dairy industry, revolving around topics such as: Natural, refined, safe products; Innovation - the future of the dairy industry; Developing dairy products suitable for personalized nutrition; Sustainable development... With the scale and influence of leading enterprises, these strategies are not only their own stories, but also create the impact and blueprint for the future of the dairy industry.
Science "unlocks" nature, increases nutritional value
At the conference, Mr. Nguyen Quang Tri - Executive Director of Marketing Vinamilk - opened the presentation with the theme "Starting from nature, elevating with science" (Born by Nature, Perfected by Science) by emphasizing: "The future of the dairy industry lies in the ability to combine natural nutritional values and remarkable scientific advances, to "unlock" nature, upgrading the nutritional value of milk. This philosophy is also the guideline for all innovations of Vinamilk, with the goal of constantly improving the value and quality of dairy products to care for all needs, all ages".

Specifically, Vinamilk Green Farm fresh milk with dual vacuum suction technology has been shared by Vinamilk as an "unimaginable" step forward in the dairy industry. After 2 years of research and testing, Vinamilk successfully reduced up to 50% of the free oxygen roots in Vinamilk Green Farm fresh milk, helping to lock in the freshness and aftertaste of natural flower grass. Although this technology is quite popular in the food industry, applying it to fresh milk is not simple and unprecedented in Vietnam. As a result of this investment, Vinamilk Green Farm has won many international awards for both delicious and quality such as superior Taste, Monde Selection ( Belgian) and exceeded more than 400 strict criteria on quality and production conditions to achieve safety and purity according to Clean Label Project (USA), setting new standards for fresh milk in Vietnam.
With the increasingly developing trend of personalized health, consumers now not only look for "fresh milk" but need to accurately measure the nutritional content in each box of milk. That is also the origin of the advanced super-filter technology that Vinamilk brought back from Sweden, to launch smart nutritional milk products: high in protein, low in fat, rich in calcium and lactose. This technology helps Vinamilk to accurately refin the protein, fat, and lactose sections right from pure fresh milk, helping the product have a high protein content without needing to add any other protein source - something that traditional technology is "unfeasible".
Breakthroughs in science and technology help us not only preserve the best values from nature, but also develop nutritional solutions that are closest to nature. That was Mr. Nguyen Quang Tri's sharing when talking about the breakthrough called "the first 6 HMOs in Vietnam". In 2024, Vinamilk is the pioneer in successfully adding 6 types of HMOs, accounting for 58% of the HMOs in breast milk, including all 3 sub-groups (Sialylated, Fucosylated, Non-fucosylated) to Optimum Gold and Optimum Colos products. This is a big step forward in the Vietnamese market, contributing to solving the problem of mothers who cannot completely breastfeed for many reasons of force majeure.

Mr. Richard Hall, President of the Global Dairy Conference shared: Dairy is a very good nutritional foundation, but always needs to be innovated to suit human needs. We cannot consume hundreds of products at the same time but must choose what is best for the body. More than ever, technology has helped the dairy industry go long and last. During the 5 years of participation, the Vietnamese representative brought many very valuable shares. This year, the products are very creative with many impressive, quality and delicious technologies. I think that is all we need to develop the dairy industry".
In addition to fresh milk and formula, Vinamilk also shares many nutritional breakthroughs in other product lines such as: Vinamilk Green Farm pasteurized yogurt integrates 6 types of raw enzymes and probiotics from Europe for the first time; or the technology of pure soybean blending of Vinamilk 9 Seed Milk product, maximizing the natural nutritional composition and deliciousness of the seeds, especially reducing the amount of byproducts (soymil) compared to traditional production methods.
Conquering the World Dairy Industry Innovation Award

Within the framework of the Global Dairy Conference in the Netherlands, 2 Vinamilk products were honored at the World Dairy Innovation Awards 2025. Specifically, the Best Yogurt category was named Vinamilk Green Farm for high- enzyme Greek yogurt and Best Packaging Design for Vinamilk Vegetable Yogurt.
This contributes to impressing the global milk industry community with the level of investment in science and technology, as well as the innovation and creativity of the Vietnamese milk brand with the value of 6th in the world. Although Vietnam is a young country in the dairy industry, the pioneering efforts of leading enterprises have helped affirm the position and mark of Vietnamese milk in the global playground, with the products "made in Vietnam" but possessing the most advanced technologies and standards in the world.
I am really impressed with today's presentation from Vietnam, especially about innovative products such as Vinamilk Green Farm or formula with 6HMOs. They also have many products that won awards this time.
