On August 17, in Pleiku ward (Gia Lai), the "Vietnam Private Economic Forum 2025 - South Central & Central Highlands Cluster Dialogue Session" took place, with the participation of many private enterprises from Gia Lai, Da Nang, Quang Ngai, Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa, Lam Dong.
At the forum, young businesses assessed the South Central and Central Highlands as potential lands with advantages in high-tech agriculture, renewable energy, tourism - services.
However, this area still faces many bottlenecks. Specifically, there is a lack of synchronous transport infrastructure; high logistics costs; weak supporting industries; tourism has not been exploited worthyly; difficulties in accessing capital and land.
In particular, small and medium-sized enterprises in the creative startup sector account for more than 97% of the total, so they need appropriate support even more.

Mr. Phan Thanh Thien, Chairman of the Gia Lai Young Entrepreneurs Association, said: Enterprises need to frankly raise difficulties and make specific proposals. The government must have solutions to reduce costs, eliminate "sub-licenses", and create a transparent and fair business environment.
Enterprises also recommended that the State build a special credit mechanism for small and medium enterprises; remove obstacles in planning and land fund for production and business.
At the same time, it is necessary to promote green, organic agriculture, apply technology to enhance the value of agricultural products; connect local businesses with large corporations; effectively exploit seaports, highways, and airports to form a new supply chain.
Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Pham Anh Tuan, emphasized: "Enterprises must study carefully, boldly give opinions for the government to receive and adjust.
Old barriers need to be removed, institutions must operate effectively. The State always accompanies, but it is also necessary for businesses to proactively propose solutions".
