Hung Yen - Provincial leaders visit and encourage businesses in the area, acknowledge production results and exchange development orientations for 2026.

On March 4, Mr. Pham Quang Ngoc - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - and the provincial working delegation visited and encouraged a number of production and business enterprises in the area on the occasion of the beginning of the Binh Ngo 2026 year.

At Thai Binh Thermal Power Company and Thai Binh 2 Thermal Power Plant, leaders of units reported on production and business results in 2025; the operation of units; labor safety assurance and environmental protection. Businesses also proposed some contents related to mechanisms, policies and infrastructure serving production activities.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Mr. Pham Quang Ngoc acknowledged and congratulated the outstanding results achieved by Thai Binh 1 Thermal Power Plant and Thai Binh 2 Thermal Power Plant in the past year. He highly appreciated the role of the plants in safe and stable operation of the national power system, contributing to ensuring energy security, promoting socio-economic development and ensuring social security of the province as well as the region.

Regarding the orientation for the coming time, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee said that the province identifies the development of Thai Binh Economic Zone in a synchronous and modern direction, gradually forming and developing the province's Free Economic Zone, creating an important driving force for growth.

In the context that the province sets a double-digit growth target for 2026 and the following years, the demand for energy for production, business and investment attraction will be very large, not only meeting the needs in the province but also for neighboring localities.

Next, the working delegation visited Green i-Park Joint Stock Company in Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park. Business representatives reported on the situation of investment attraction, construction and infrastructure completion; support for secondary businesses; orientation for industrial park development according to ecological, smart models, associated with digital transformation and sustainable development.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged the Company's efforts in investing in synchronous infrastructure, attracting high-tech, environmentally friendly projects, contributing to economic restructuring, creating jobs and increasing budget revenue.

He requested businesses to continue to promote the role of infrastructure investors; accelerate the progress of the remaining items; improve service quality; ensure security and order, labor safety, fire prevention and fighting, and environmental protection; and at the same time closely coordinate with functional agencies in promoting and attracting high value-added projects, making practical contributions to the province's double-digit growth target in 2026.
