On the morning of August 28, in Gia Thuan commune, the People's Committee of Dong Thap province held an inauguration ceremony for the Gia Thuan 2 Industrial Cluster Project. This is a project to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025). The Gia Thuan 2 Industrial Cluster project has a total area of 50 hectares, with a total investment of 391 billion VND, invested by Tien Giang Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company (TICCO). The project has completed the infrastructure 4 months ahead of schedule, creating a clean land fund, modern infrastructure, ready to welcome secondary investors in many potential fields such as: food, beverages, electronics, electrical equipment, cars, high technology...
According to Mr. Nguyen Thanh Dieu, along with the series of works: Gia Thuan 1 Industrial Cluster, Soai Trao Petroleum Service Industrial Park, Go Cong Fishing Logistics Service Area, General Port, wind power plant projects, Coastal Road... Gia Thuan 2 Industrial Cluster Project is not only a concretization of the industrial and marine economic development goals in the Provincial and Eastern Region Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050, but also demonstrates the determination of the provincial leaders, the efforts of sectors, levels and the consensus and support of local people in efforts to improve the investment and business environment, develop infrastructure, and create favorable conditions for production and business enterprises.
