Thanh Cong Viet Hung Automobile Factory invested by Thanh Cong Group in Viet Hung Industrial Park, Ha Long City is expected to come into operation at the end of December 2024 and officially supply products to the market in early 2025.
In the immediate future, this will be the first factory to produce and assemble cars from the famous Czech brand - Skoda, making Quang Ninh one of the next major automobile manufacturing centers of the country.
In the next phase, the factory will expand to environmentally friendly electric vehicles. The factory is built on an area of 36.5 hectares, with a capacity of 120,000 vehicles/year, with modern equipment lines, high level of automation, in accordance with international standards.
This is a project that has a great influence on the development of Viet Hung Industrial Park, leading and attracting secondary projects that bring positive benefits to the Industrial Park, as well as promoting the development of the province in the spirit of Resolution No. 01-NQ/TU (dated November 16, 2020) of the Executive Committee of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee on "Rapid and sustainable development of the processing and manufacturing industry in the period of 2020-2025, with a vision to 2030".
Because, the products of this factory will not only be the supply source for TC Group's current core automobile manufacturing and business activities, but also aim for export; contributing to promoting the Vietnamese automobile support industry to reach regional and world markets.
After the automobile factory project, Thanh Cong Group will continue to invest in the remaining components of Thanh Cong Viet Hung Automobile and Supporting Industry Complex, thereby contributing to creating momentum for the development of Quang Ninh province in the coming years, increasing revenue for the local budget, and creating jobs.
With the appearance of Thanh Cong Viet Hung Automobile Factory, it is expected to attract many clean projects in the processing and manufacturing industry in the coming time to the Industrial Park with a strategic location, considered the "heart" of Quang Ninh.
Viet Hung Industrial Park is located on the shore of Cua Luc Bay, in Viet Hung Ward, Ha Long City, with a total planning area of over 300 hectares.
Investors in Viet Hung Industrial Park have many options for easy transportation of goods in and out of the Industrial Park by different routes. To date, Viet Hung Industrial Park has basically completed the technical infrastructure for both phases, attracting 12 investment projects with a total registered investment capital of 85.46 million USD of FDI capital and more than 6,100 billion VND of domestic investment capital, creating stable jobs for more than 5,400 workers. The occupancy rate of this Industrial Park is currently over 44%.
