According to the reporter's investigation, the Trade Center project combining office business and tourism activities on commercial service land plot - 03, zone No. 1, urban area No. 11, 12 belonging to sub-zone No. 2, Tan Tien ward, Bac Ninh province has been approved for auction plan, recognized the winning auction result for Newland Investment Joint Stock Company and issued Investment Registration Certificate with a implementation progress of 36 months from August 2025.
According to a recent report, the enterprise has basically completed the ground leveling work and proposed to transfer the entire project to AeonMall Vietnam in accordance with the 2025 Investment Law and related laws.
This project has a scale of about 7.7 hectares, with a total investment of nearly 4,000 billion VND.
On March 4, Mr. Pham Hoang Son - Chairman of Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee also chaired a working session with AeonMall Vietnam Co., Ltd. and Newland Investment Joint Stock Company on the AEON Mall Trade Center project in Bac Ninh.
At the working session, Mr. Nojima Masaaki - Senior General Manager of AeonMall Vietnam's Project Development Board respectfully acknowledged the support of the leaders of Bac Ninh province and departments and branches; committed to closely coordinate to complete transfer procedures in accordance with regulations, ensuring the highest progress and efficiency.
To promote the project to be implemented as quickly as possible, the Chairman of Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee has directed departments and branches to apply the "24h green channel" mechanism, committing to resolve procedures under the province's authority on the same day instead of following the normal process; striving to start the project before April 30, 2026.
At the same time, it is proposed that AeonMall establish an independent legal entity and carry out accounting in Bac Ninh to directly contribute to the local budget.
