Since the beginning of the year, Hue has welcomed more than 5.8 million visitors, including 1.7 million international visitors; tourism revenue is estimated at 11,700 billion VND, an increase of 63% over the same period, continuing to be an important growth driver of the city's economy.
The service - trade sectors maintained a stable growth rate. Total retail and service revenue reached nearly VND 60,000 billion, up 14.8%. Export turnover in 11 months reached 1.342 billion USD, up 19.3%; imports reached 1.1 billion USD, up 16.8%. Mobilized capital and outstanding credit continue to expand, bad debt remains at a low level of 1.7%.
The total investment capital implemented in the area is more than 33,642 billion VND, an increase of 15.6%. The city has newly granted 44 projects, including 10 FDI projects. The number of newly established enterprises increased by 30%, with registered capital 4 times higher than the same period.
12-month budget revenue reached VND12,900 billion, exceeding the estimate. Disbursement of public investment capital reached 63% of the plan assigned by the Prime Minister, in the group of localities with higher progress than the national average.
Administrative reform has clearly changed, PCI ranked 6th, PAR-INDEX ranked 7th nationwide. After more than 5 months of implementing the 2-level government model, the apparatus operates smoothly and effectively.
National defense and security are maintained; traffic accidents have decreased in all three criteria, the whole city has recorded 201 cases since the beginning of the year, a decrease of 60 cases compared to the same period.
