More than 700 Vietnamese enterprises are supported to connect
In the context of Vietnamese enterprises facing many difficulties in output, especially the forecast decline in export markets due to the impact of countervailing tax policies from the US, promoting the exploitation of the domestic market with more than 100 million people is becoming a strategic and urgent direction.
Grasping this need, trade promotion programs, connecting businesses with modern distribution systems have been and are being strongly implemented.
Ms. Cao Thi Phi Van - Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Investment and Trade Promotion Center (ITPC) - said that in order to meet the need for connection and bring Vietnamese products to modern distribution channels, over the years, ITPC has coordinated with large domestic and foreign retail corporations and distribution systems to implement the series of programs "Trade Connection Week" and " space to introduce Vietnamese products".
This is a key trade promotion activity held annually, contributing to creating opportunities for Vietnamese enterprises to promote quality products, build a reputable brand - especially new products from small and medium enterprises and innovative startups.

According to statistics from ITPC, these events have attracted more than 10,000 domestic and international visitors to visit and shop; at the same time, supporting the connection of more than 700 businesses from Ho Chi Minh City and other localities.
A bridge to bring Vietnamese goods to the world
Mr. Paul Le - Vice President of Central Retail Vietnam - said that the modern retail system always has very strict requirements for product quality and safety. "To go to a supermarket, the product must have clear certification, transparent origin and a standard production process. We put the criteria of " processed, good, safe and priced" as the top priority for consumers" - he emphasized.
Not only stopping in the domestic market, this retail system is aiming to bring Vietnamese products to the international market, especially Thailand and Europe. It is expected that next October, Vietnam Products Week will be held in Paris (France), opening up opportunities for Vietnamese enterprises to reach deeper with European consumers.
To support businesses to overcome challenges from the export market and effectively exploit domestic consumption potential, in addition to promotional activities, connecting with a modern retail system, many stimulus programs have also been simultaneously implemented.
According to the Ho Chi Minh City Song Ke Department, in June 2025, commercial and service businesses in the area will continue to implement incentive and promotion programs to stimulate consumption during the summer. The inspection and handling of counterfeit goods and counterfeit goods has been strengthened, contributing to improving the quality of goods serving consumers.
In the second quarter of 2025 alone, total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue is estimated at VND 337,429 billion, up 6.5% over the first quarter of 2025 and up 17.2% over the same period.
