The European Commission has announced the regulation (EU) 2025/1919 signed on September 25, 2025 on anti-dumping duties on hot-rolled steel from Egypt, Japan and Vietnam as well as ending the investigation of imports of similar products from India.
Accordingly, the official anti -dumping tax is applied to goods imported a number of iron flat rolling products, alloy steel or other alloy steel, whether or not in the form of rolls (including the products ‘cut in length’ and ‘narrow strip’), not processed in addition to hot, non -covered or coated handle, currently belonging to CN 7208 10 00, 7208 25 00, 7208 26 00, 7208 27 00, 7208 00, 7208 00, 7208 00, 7208 00, 7208 00, 7208 00, 7208 00 7208 38 00, 7208 39 00, 7208 40 00, 7208 52 10, 7208 52 99, 7208 53 10, 7208 53 90, 7208 54 00, 7211 13 00, 7211 14 00, 7211 19 00, EX 7225 19 10 (Taric 7225 19 10 90), 7225 30 90, EX 7225 40 60 (Taric 7225 40 90) 7226 19 10 (Taric 7226 19 10 91, 7226 19 10 95), 7226 91 91 and 7226 91 99 originating from Egypt, Japan and Vietnam.
The following products are excluded: (i) products made of stainless steel and sectional silicone steel; (ii) products made of tool steel and high-speed steel; (iii) products, not coiled, not with floating patterns, thickness over 10 mm and width of 600 mm or more; and (iv) products, not coiled, not with floating patterns, thickness of 4.75 mm or more but not more than 10 mm and width of 2,050 mm or more.
The official anti-dumping tax rate applies to the net price, free price at the Union border, before tax, of the products described in Clause 1 and manufactured by the companies listed below, as follows:
Current anti-dumping measures do not apply to Vietnam's export producer Hoa Phat Group, including Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel Joint Stock Company, Hoa Phat Cold-rolled Steel Co., Ltd., Ton Hoa Phat Co., Ltd., Ton Hoa Phat Co., Ltd., Hoa Phat Co., Ltd., Hoa Phat Steel Pipe Co., Ltd., Hung Yen Branch, Hoa Phat Binh Duong Steel Pipe Co., Ltd., Hoa Phat Binh Duong Steel Pipe Co., Ltd. and Hoa Phat Da Nang Steel Pipe Co., Ltd. ( adding code ADCMIC 89).
