Speaking at the Construction Implementation Ceremony, Deputy General Director of Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN) - Mr. Pham Hong Phuong said that during the investment preparation and project implementation, EVN has received the attention and close direction of the Government, the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Industry and Trade... and the joint efforts and consensus of the people in the Project area to speed up the progress of compensation, support and resettlement.
Mr. Pham Hong Phuong respectfully requested the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee, leaders of Departments and branches of Yen Bai province; leaders of districts and localities in the project area to continue to pay attention and direct the implementation of compensation, support, resettlement work, and soon complete it.
Hand over the entire site of the pole foundation and corridor for the Investor to organize the synchronous and simultaneous implementation of the electric pole foundation locations along the entire route to meet the progress of the project.
"Vietnam Electricity Group assigned the task to the Power Power Project Management Board 1 and contractors to manage the project, organize construction to ensure compliance with requirements on quality, environment, focus resources and equipment to speed up progress, strive to complete the project according to the set plan" - Mr. Pham Hong Phuong said.
In order for the project to be invested in accordance with regulations, achieve high quality, complete on schedule and promote investment efficiency, at the groundbreaking ceremony, Vice Chairman of Yen Bai Provincial People's Committee Mr. Ngo Hanh Phuc requested - units related to the project implementation to focus and strive to perform well a number of tasks.
"Firstly, the Investor, Power Project Management Board 1 and related contractors and units must strictly comply with the construction procedures and technical regulations, ensuring the highest progress and quality... Strive to complete the project before September 2, 2025.
Second, the Party Committee, government, organizations of Luc Yen, Yen Binh districts and communes and towns within the scope of project implementation need to focus on implementing well, maintaining the tradition of being a bright spot, the leading flag in site clearance.
Third, relevant departments, branches and sectors of the province need to perform well the function of State management, be responsible for inspecting and closely supervising the project implementation process.
Fourth, organizations and individuals within the project scope, especially 65 households and organizations with land and assets on the land that have been collected and cleared, must promptly hand over the site to serve the construction organization according to the approved schedule" - Mr. Ngo Hanh Phuc requested emphasizing.
Speaking with Lao Dong, Mr. Chu Hoang Tung - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ngai Cau Construction and Trading Investment Joint Stock Company, said that for the package in the 500 kV Lao Cai - Vinh Yen transmission line project, the company is ready in all aspects to ensure the project is on schedule and of good quality.
The company will participate in implementing 17 pole locations and about 2,000 tons of steel columns for this project. We are committed to making every effort to complete the project ahead of schedule, based on the team's experience and high determination. The company will closely coordinate with departments and partners to achieve the highest goal" - Mr. Tung said.
The 500kV Lao Cai - Vinh Yen Power Line project has a total length of 229.5km, with a total of 468 electric pole foundation locations. The total investment of the Project of more than VND 7,410 billion is arranged from the loan capital of the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (Vietcombank) of 80%, and EVN's counterpart capital is 20% of the total investment (before tax).
The section passing through Yen Bai province is 90.06 km long, with 173 locations for electric pole foundations (from VT102 to VT274), passing through 2 districts, Luc Yen and Yen Binh.
