Mr. Dang Hoang An - Chairman of Vietnam Electricity Group - said that during the construction process, Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN), National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT) and construction units at the construction site encountered countless difficulties and challenges that seemed impossible to overcome.
The 4 component projects of the 500kV line 3 stretch from the Northern Delta to the Central region, passing through all types of terrain. Construction takes place during seasons with unfavorable weather conditions and difficult terrain...
However, with the attention and direction of the Prime Minister, ministries, branches, and provincial People's Committees, EVN and EVNNPT have had many timely solutions in management, solidarity, and creativity with contractors to complete projects on schedule.
Under the strong direction of the Prime Minister, the Government, the attention and support of ministries, localities and people, the entire project has been energized after more than 6 months of construction. Completing the project on schedule is an outstanding achievement that has been commended by the Prime Minister, along with the recognition of ministries, localities and people.
At the conference, on behalf of the leaders of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and EVN Group, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang - Member of the Party Central Committee, President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor officially launched the emulation movement among union members, civil servants, and laborers to accelerate the investment and construction progress of EVN's key projects in 2025, with the emulation theme "three pioneers, two responsibilities".
Three pioneers include pioneering in infrastructure, pioneering in completing progress, pioneering in overcoming difficulties; two responsibilities include responsibility for ensuring quality; responsibility for saving and fighting waste.
“We will show our highest determination to the Prime Minister - Chairman of the Central Emulation and Reward Council, to compete to accelerate the investment and construction progress of EVN's key projects in 2025. The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor will select outstanding projects and works to be awarded the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor's plaque to welcome the Party Congresses at all levels, the Patriotic Emulation Congress, and to welcome major national holidays and events of the Vietnam Trade Union in 2025,” said Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Nguyen Dinh Khang.

Speaking at the Conference, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh expressed his emotion at the growth and maturity of the electricity industry, with high growth, no incidents or power shortages to meet the country's development requirements; through the power supply and the success of the 500kV line 3 project, the image of electricians has been enhanced in the hearts of the people, while inspiring the whole nation.
Talking about the significance of the success of the 500kV line 3 project, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh affirmed: Nothing is impossible if there is determination, daring to think, daring to do and knowing how to do; the project contributes to enhancing the role, position and prestige of the electricity industry in the hearts of the people and domestic and foreign enterprises; contributes to strengthening confidence, bravery, intelligence and creativity; learning from experience while doing, gradually expanding, not being perfectionist or hasty.
Regarding lessons learned, the Prime Minister said that the success of the project was due to knowing how to promote the strength of national solidarity; mobilizing the strength of the entire political system; ensuring the leadership of the Party; with the viewpoint that resources originate from thinking and vision, motivation originates from innovation and creativity, strength originates from people and businesses.
