EVNNPT proactively plans, strengthens inspection, and protects the power transmission system, ensuring safe and stable power supply on National Day September 2.

Proactive from early on, ready with operating plans

Implementing the direction of Vietnam Electricity Group on ensuring electricity supply during holidays, EVNNPT and its affiliated units comprehensively review operating methods, equipment status, power lines and substations; proactively identify risks that may affect system safety for timely handling.

Power transmission units, project management boards and related units are required to strictly implement the plan to ensure power supply, strengthen operating and incident handling forces, and prepare sufficient supplies, equipment, vehicles, and necessary personnel, ready to respond to arising situations.

During the holiday, units organize leadership duty, operation duty and incident handling duty according to regulations; maintain smooth communication mode, regularly update system operation status to promptly coordinate handling when there are any abnormalities.

In particular, EVNNPT requests units not to let subjectivity and passivity occur; tasks that may affect the safe operation of the system must be strictly controlled, and at the same time minimize operations and tasks on the grid that may affect the reliability of power supply during the peak period of the holidays.

Strengthen inspection and safety protection of power lines and transformer stations

Along with preparing operating methods, EVNNPT pays special attention to inspection and protection of the safety corridor of the transmission grid.

Units strengthen inspection of power lines, substations, equipment and key locations; promptly detect and handle defects that may cause incidents. Inspection work focuses on areas and equipment at high risk, locations where incidents have occurred or are affected by unfavorable weather.

For the transmission line system, units should strengthen the inspection of the corridor of the line, proactively coordinate with local authorities and functional forces to prevent the risk of encroaching on the safety corridor of the power grid, especially in densely populated areas, areas where large numbers of people gather and locations with fire and explosion risks.

Substations are inspected for equipment status, protection systems, control, communication, self-use power sources and operating assurance conditions. Problems that may affect operation must be handled or have appropriate control plans before the holidays.

In addition, in the face of weather diễn biến that may be complicated during the holidays, units proactively update meteorological and hydrological information; monitor areas at risk of heavy rain, thunderstorms, landslides, flooding, forest fires... to proactively deploy prevention plans, ensuring safety for people and equipment.

Ready to respond, handle all situations quickly

With the role of a unit managing and operating the national power transmission system, EVNNPT identifies ensuring safe, continuous, and stable operation of the power system during National Day September 2 as a key task.

Units are required to maintain strict operating discipline, implement procedures and regulations correctly; strengthen supervision of operating parameters and proactively handle them right from the time abnormal signs are detected.

In case of incidents, units must quickly deploy handling plans, mobilize forces and vehicles according to the "4 on-the-spot" motto, closely coordinate with relevant units to restore operation as soon as possible, minimizing the impact on the power system.

EVNNPT also requests units to strengthen coordination with local authorities, police, military and functional agencies in the area to ensure security and safety for power transmission projects, especially in areas where political, cultural, and festival activities take place and crowds gather during National Day.

With early proactiveness, careful preparation and serious operational organization, EVNNPT and its affiliated units are determined to ensure the power transmission system operates safely, stably, and continuously, contributing to serving well political, socio-economic activities and people's electricity needs during the National Day holiday 2. 9.
