Successfully energized many projects
EVNSPC has been devoting many resources to investing in the construction of power grid projects, promptly meeting the needs of socio-economic development and people's lives in the managed area.
During the implementation of the projects, despite many difficulties and challenges due to unfavorable weather conditions, prolonged implementation of investment and construction procedures, especially problems with compensation and site clearance... but with the close direction, the spirit of working without days off of the leaders of EVNSPC and its member units, along with the efforts of employees working in investment and construction throughout EVNSPC and contractors, and the support of local authorities, many projects have been implemented and exceeded the set schedule, successfully energized and put into operation.
On October 31, the 110kV Road to Ben Luc 220kV Transformer Station (Long An) project was successfully energized. With a total investment of more than 94 billion VND, this is one of the important projects to ensure stable power supply and enhance power transmission capacity for Ben Luc area and neighboring areas, especially in the context of increasing demand for electricity in Long An province.
On the same day, EVNSPC also successfully energized the 110kV transmission line project connecting after the 220kV Vinh Hao transformer station, Binh Thuan province. The project has a total investment of nearly 14 billion VND. When put into operation, it will contribute to clearing the way for renewable energy power plants in the area; increase the power supply from the 220kV Vinh Hao transformer station for Binh Thuan province, ensure the demand for electricity load development and serve the local socio-economic development; meet the power supply demand in the area according to the N-1 criteria.
Previously, on October 30, the 110kV Du Long Industrial Park Transformer Station (TSS) and connecting line project in Ninh Thuan province were successfully energized and put into operation. The project has a total investment of 91 billion VND, with an investment scale of 2 transformers with a capacity of 2x40MVA, this phase will install 01 transformer of 1x40MVA, with an expected capacity of 2x63MVA in the future; the length of the connecting line is 33.5m.
On October 29, Tra Vinh Power Company also successfully energized and put into operation transformer No. 2 of Cau Ngang 110kV transformer station under the project "Installation of T2-40 MVA transformer at Cau Ngang 110kV transformer station", 2 months ahead of schedule.
Although the construction was carried out in unfavorable weather conditions, with the close direction of EVNSPC leaders, the efforts, high responsibility and good coordination between Tra Vinh Power Company and related units, the project was completed 2 months ahead of schedule.
Previously, from October 21 to 28, EVNSPC also successfully energized and put into operation 4 110kV power grid projects in Lam Dong, Soc Trang, An Giang, and Dong Nai provinces.
Need coordination from localities
In addition to the projects that have been energized and put into operation, EVNSPC is also implementing dozens of projects on the 110kV grid in 21 southern provinces and cities. These are all key and urgent power projects to meet the growing load demand of localities. However, many projects are still facing difficulties and obstacles in compensation and site clearance. It is worth mentioning that many projects are scheduled to be energized in 2024, with a very short remaining time, but many pole locations still do not have land for construction.
If the projects are behind schedule, it will greatly affect the electricity supply. Therefore, EVNSPC hopes to receive support and companionship from the local authorities of 21 southern provinces and cities in investing in the construction of power projects; especially in drastically removing difficulties and obstacles in compensation and site clearance to work with the electricity industry to bring the projects to the finish line on schedule.
In the first 10 months of 2024, EVNSPC started construction of 34 projects and energized 25 110kV power grid projects, contributing to ensuring safe and reliable power supply, meeting the needs of socio-economic development and people's lives in 21 southern provinces and cities.
